Meet Umu K. Diallo
Umu is the daughter of native Guineans and is a first-generation American, driven by a deep commitment to immigrant advocacy. She holds a bachelors of Science in Criminology and a minor in Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University.
Before joining the team, Umu gained hands on experience at another immigration firm, where she supported attorneys in removal defense and family-based immigration cases. As a paralegal, Umu brings valuable experience in preparing immigration cases, from drafting personal statements to assisting clients understand the process of removal proceedings. Umu plays a vital role in helping clients feel understood and supported. She regularly translates for Fulani - speaking individuals, ensuring clear communication throughout the legal process. In addition to her legal responsibilities, Umu has experience managing administrative duties such as client intake, file management, and coordinating client communications, ensuring cases move smoothly from start to finish.
