Mariama S.

Mariama S. was granted asylum by an immigration judge in defensive removal proceedings based on past persecution as a member of a particular social group. Mariama believes that Winkler Quintanilla fully prepared her for her immigration court case and is looking forward to using Winkler Immigration Law to petition for her children to join her in the United States.

Fatoumata D.

Fatoumata D. was granted asylum by an immigration judge in removal proceedings based on past persecution as a member of a particular social group. Fatoumata says that the team at Winkler Quintanilla did a great job informing her of the immigration court process and preparing her for her trial. Fatoumata is looking forward to reuniting with her spouse and children in the United States.

Mamadou D.

Mamadou D. was granted asylum by an immigration judge in removal proceedings based on his credible fear of persecution because of his political opinion. Mamadou believes that the team at Winkler Quintanilla properly informed him of the legal processes which made him well prepared for his trial. Mamadou shared the following message with the team: “What really struck me about WQ was the openness, dedication, and willingness of everyone to ensure my application was successful. I always remember the concern everyone felt, just as I did, for my application to be approved, but also the feeling of joy that animated the entire team when I was approved. This undoubtedly reflects an expression of good faith.”

Mamadou B.

Mamadou B. was granted asylum by an immigration judge in removal proceedings based on past persecution because of his political opinion. Mamadou states that the team at Winkler Quintanilla was very informative and made sure that he fully understood the immigration court process. Mamadou says that he will continue to work with Winkler Quintanilla in the future when it is time to adjust status and apply for naturalization.

Aboulaye D. and Bilguissa 

Aboulaye and Bilguissa were granted asylum by an immigration judge in removal proceedings based on past persecution as a member of a particular social group. Alhassane and Bilguissa say that they are thankful for the team at Winkler Quintanilla for paying close attention to their case and keeping them fully informed each step of the immigration court process. Alhassane and Bilguissa, along with their minor children, are proud asylees of the United States and look forward to building their family as lawful permanent residents in the near future.
