Meet Cristina Ibarra Arriaga

Cristina, originally from Mexico, is passionate about supporting immigrant communities and advocating for their rights. She earned her undergraduate degree in International Relations, Latin American Studies, and French. Before law school, Cristina worked at an immigration law firm, where she gained practical experience handling various immigration matters. She later earned her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, where she focused on human rights and immigration law. During law school, Cristina worked in the International Human Rights Law Clinic, assisting clients with asylum cases and work authorizations.

Cristina now supports attorneys with case preparation and client communication. Driven by a strong commitment to immigrant advocacy, she is focused on helping immigrants navigate legal challenges and making the immigration process easier to understand.
